Localog Companion

Required dependency: Localog Companion requires the SimulationCraft addon to be installed and enabled. It will not function without it.

Localog Companion helps you record target-dummy practice sessions for use with the Localog analyzer. It guides combat logging, captures the helpful auras active on your character when combat begins, and combines that information with your SimulationCraft character profile.

The addon is designed specifically for target-dummy analysis and currently supports Retail World of Warcraft.

How to use it

1. Install and enable both SimulationCraft and Localog Companion.
2. Stand near a target dummy while out of combat.
3. Enter /localog and select Start practice capture.
4. Perform your target-dummy attempt and leave combat normally.
5. Select Copy for Localog when the capture is ready.
6. Open the Localog analyzer (https://topping.github.io/Localog/), import your combat log, and paste the copied profile when prompted.

The addon starts and stops combat logging carefully: it only stops logging that it started itself. If combat logging was already active, Localog leaves it active.

Localog Companion is developed specifically for the Localog analyzer and is not an official WoWAnalyzer addon.
