LoadoutBuddy

LoadoutBuddy remembers which talent loadout you want for each dungeon, each raid, and now each individual raid boss, and warns you the moment you are standing somewhere with a different one active. No more realizing you're still in your raid build two packs into a key, or single-target on a council fight.

How it works

•    Open the panel (/lb or the minimap button) and pick a loadout for each instance from the dropdown. Expand a raid with the + toggle to give individual bosses their own loadout.

•    When you zone in, or walk up to a boss, with a different loadout active, a warning pops up with a one-click Load button that swaps you to the right build.

•    The warning keeps reminding you until you switch talents, pull, or wave it off. Every reminder has Remind Later as well as Dismiss, so you can push one back instead of killing it.

Raids, boss by boss

Give each boss in the tier its own loadout and LoadoutBuddy handles the rest of the night on its own.

•    Knows where you are without you doing anything.

•    Warns before the pull, never during. Boss tracking runs out of combat only, and stops entirely once a fight starts.

•    Bosses you kill go quiet. Anything this addon watched die stops reminding you for the rest of that run.

•    Two bosses on one floor? You get a row for each one, with its own Load button, its own Remind Later, and its own Dismiss. Deal with one and it disappears from the list while the other stays. Pick one boss's loadout and the others are postponed automatically, since you have just said where you are headed.

Remind Later, done properly

A postponed reminder never comes back on a timer. Sitting in the room talking strategy for twenty minutes should not earn you a stack of popups. It comes back when something actually happens:

•    a boss dies

•    you move to a different floor

•    you come back from AFK, so if you step away from the keyboard the reminder is waiting when you return (toggle, on by default)

Dismiss is the other half of the pair: that one is final for the rest of the run, per boss.

Features

•    Per-spec, per-character assignments. Each spec keeps its own map of instances and bosses to loadouts, so your Demonology and Destruction builds never get mixed up.

•    Always current. The dungeon list is pulled live from the current Mythic+ season pool and the raid list from the Encounter Journal's current tier. When a new season starts, the new instances and bosses just show up. No addon update required.

•    Add anything. Standing in an old dungeon or a raid outside the current tier? "Add current instance" puts it in the list.

•    One-click swap. The Load button uses Blizzard's own loadout-switching path, and the talent frame updates to match without a reload.

•    Configurable alert. Choose from a set of built-in Blizzard sounds or any sound registered with LibSharedMedia (BigWigs, ElvUI, EllesmereUI, etc.), with a preview button. Set the repeat interval or turn repeats off.

•    Put the popup where you want it. Unlock it and a stand-in appears to drag.

•    Stays out of your way. Reminders only fire inside instances. The popup hides itself the instant you enter combat and never touches protected frames. Optionally, it can speak up again after the fight if you are still in the wrong build.

Slash commands

•    /lb  —  toggle the settings panel

•    /lb check  —  re-check where you are right now

•    /lb test  —  preview the warning popup

•    /lb status  —  print your spec, active loadout, and saved loadouts

•    /lb bosses  —  print this raid's bosses and which ones it has seen die

•    /lb load <name>  —  load a loadout by name from chat

•    /lb dungeons  —  print the instance and boss list the addon is seeing

•    /lb reset  —  wipe settings for this character

Notes

•    Requires a saved loadout for the spec; the addon reads the same loadouts you see in the talent frame's dropdown.

•    Talent swaps are subject to Blizzard's normal rules (out of combat, no active keystone, and so on). If a swap is refused, the addon tells you why in chat.

•    Per-boss reminders are raids only. Mythic+ needs one check when you zone in, so that is all it does.
