Light Party Threat

A compact threat meter for your selected enemy, designed for WoW Classic Forever Beta.

Understanding the numbers

Pull % uses the game's scaled threat percentage. Ordinary Classic switches use 110% of the current tank's threat at melee distance and 130% outside melee distance; the API already accounts for this. Healers use the same distance-based rule. The 90% and 95% warnings are addon advance warnings, not separate game thresholds.

TPS measures recent increases in API raw threat per second, not DPS or total threat. No division by 100 is applied. Large values use k/M/B. TANK means holding aggro, not your assigned role. TANK RISK means insecure aggro ownership reported by the API.

Experimental compatibility

Experimental beta for Forever Beta 1.60.1 (Interface 16001). Automated Lua/API-mock tests have passed; full in-game party combat validation is pending. Beta API changes may affect behavior.

• Only the selected enemy is monitored; other enemies may still attack your healer.
• Restricted or unavailable values show RESTRICTED or —; no restriction bypass or damage-based estimate.
• Pets are excluded. In raids, only your own threat is shown.
• Warnings do not predict taunts, special targeting or time to pull.
• Settings are English; character names retain their game language.

Installation and support

Extract LightPartyThreat into your Forever Beta Interface/AddOns folder. Enable it and use /lpt. Reload between fights after updates; restart if a new install is not detected.

Report issues in project comments with addon version, client build, full Lua error and reproduction steps. Redact personal information from logs/screenshots.
