Description
LH NameplateThreatColors
Color Blizzard nameplate health bars by threat, with tank, damage, and healer modes for a quick view of enemy aggro.
A quick read on who an enemy is paying attention to, using Blizzard's own nameplate health bars. LH NameplateThreatColors adds role-aware threat colors without replacing the nameplates.
What the colors mean
- Tank mode: Green for secure aggro, orange when it is threatened and red when a group member or pet has aggro.
- DPS / Healer mode: Red when you have aggro, orange for high threat and green otherwise.
- Automatic mode: Uses your assigned group role or specialization when available.
The colors apply to attackable NPCs in combat while you are grouped or have a living pet. Outside combat, and during solo play without a living pet, Blizzard's colors remain in place. Tapped NPCs keep their gray priority.
Settings
Open Options → AddOns → LH Tweaks → LH NameplateThreatColors to enable the colors and choose a role mode. The choice is saved per character. Blizzard nameplates need to be visible.

Installation and feedback
LH Tweaks is required and must be installed alongside LH NameplateThreatColors. I made this for my own groups and am glad if it helps yours. Please report confusing colors or other feedback in the CurseForge comments.
* Implemented with the help of Codex and GPT-6-SOL and tested by me as thoroughly as I could in the WoW beta client. Role and class combinations may still need work; please report anything you notice.
