# BetterMaelstrom
BetterMaelstrom is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon that displays \*\*Maelstrom Weapon\*\* stacks (1–10) as replacing the existing spell alerts for a new images. As you gain stacks, images are load.
It also includes a hide \*\*SpellActivationOverlay\*\* on 10 stack procs (the default Blizzard overlay) for specific spellID.
Made for Enhacement shamans who want to be able to trigger his maelstrom stack correctly, and not wait until you have 10 from 5.
important: made by IA, i used the IA to do what i need and just sharing this addon for let the people have what I miss from WA, and even Oggystorm was made, I didnt like the color. if have errors i will use the IA to solve it, im not a Addon developer.
## Features
- Shows Maelstrom Weapon stacks 1–10 replacing the existing spells alerts.
- Fade-out when stacks drop to 0.
- Hiding of specific Blizzard proc overlays.

Textures are loaded from:
`BetterMaelstrom/media/maelstrom1.blp` … `maelstrom10.blp`
## Credits / References
- **Oggystrom addon**: BetterMaelstrom was inspired by the animation + stack-display style shown in Oggystrom.
- **WeakAuras**: This addon also takes inspiration from the general idea of “aura-driven stack visualization”, which many players implement using WeakAuras.
