LFG Spyglass

A lightweight filter for the Premade Group Finder. It keeps Blizzard's own look and only changes which groups you see and in what order. It covers Mythic+ dungeons and raids.

Click the spyglass button in the Group Finder to turn it on or off. Everything else is in a small panel next to the Group Finder. There are no slash commands and no options pages. Settings are saved per character.

Mythic+ Dungeons

• Dungeon buttons with their Mythic+ icons, plus All / None
• Leader rating range: min / max, with quick 2000+ / 3000+ / 3200+ / 3500+ buttons
• Group needs:
  • Party fit: only groups with room for you (or your whole party) in one of your roles
  • Has a Tank / Has a Healer
  • Not Declined: hide groups that already declined you
  • Hide Class: hide groups that already have your class
  • Bloodlust / Battle Res (for classes that bring them): hide groups that already have one
• I sign up as: pick your roles once, and Blizzard's sign-up dialog opens with them ticked
• Sort by leader rating (default), newest listings, most members or Blizzard's order

Raids

• Buttons for this season's raids and Normal / Heroic / Mythic
• Boss checkboxes: keep only groups that haven't killed those bosses yet, or one-click Fresh run
• Ranges: members, and the most tanks and healers already in the group
• Not Declined and Hide Class
• With Raider.IO installed, rows show the leader's progress in that raid (for example 6/8 H), plus their main's if it's better, and groups are sorted by it

Everywhere

• The list uses Blizzard's own rows, so signing up, the application timer and Cancel work exactly like stock
• Re-apply to groups whose application expired
• Optional row info: the leader's rating, region flag (US East/Central/West, OCE, BR, LATAM, EU languages), every member's spec icon, and a leader crown
• The footer shows how many groups match, and refreshing never flashes the unfiltered list
• Raider.IO's profile window docks next to the filter panel

Known limits

• No key level filter. The key level is only in the group title, and Blizzard doesn't let add-ons read titles. You can still type a level into Blizzard's own search box.
• Filters pause during combat, boss encounters, active Mythic+ runs and PvP matches. Blizzard restricts add-ons at those times, so LFG Spyglass shows the normal list and says "Filters paused" instead of working around it.
• Using LFG Spyglass with another Group Finder filter (such as Premade Groups Filter) isn't recommended.

Blizzard-friendly by design

LFG Spyglass never searches, refreshes, signs up, cancels, invites or chats for you. Every action is a click on Blizzard's own buttons. It's free, open source (MIT), and shows no ads or donation requests in game.
