LevelBIS

Shows the best gear upgrade for every slot while leveling 1-70, ranked by your spec's stat weights.

LevelBiS

Know which gear to get while you level from 1 to 70.

LevelBiS looks at what you have equipped and, slot by slot, suggests a better item that you can actually equip and obtain. It also tells you where to start: the slot where you gain the most.

There are no hand-made BiS lists. Every item is scored with the stat weights of your spec, it works offline, and it covers 11,544 items from levels 1 to 70.

The interface is in English, and in Spanish on Spanish clients (esES/esMX).

Work in progress. LevelBiS is under constant development and you will run into bugs: odd recommendations, missing sources, text that doesn't fit. If something looks wrong, /lbis errors lists what the addon caught. Please report it on GitHub with your class, spec and level.

Features

  • Upgrade list: your 17 slots with what you are wearing, the best item you can get, where it comes from (dungeon, raid, quest, vendor, crafting, PvP, world drop) and how much you gain.
  • Details per item: stats gained or lost, source and access level, why it scores that way, how long it stays useful, and the best alternative with no random roll.
  • Dungeons tab: "Which dungeon should I run?" Lists the dungeons with the most upgrades for your level.
  • Consumables tab: the flask or elixirs, food and potions that suit your weights.
  • Filters: no raid, only instances, only quests, your professions, only what you can actually reach, random-roll items, Auction House items, server phase, normal or heroic.
  • Weights editor: change stat weights, and import or export Pawn scales.
  • While you play: which quest reward to pick, Need or Greed on group loot, upgrades that open up when you level, upgrade info on item tooltips, and Auction House prices you have seen.

Getting started

Type /lbis or click the minimap button. /lbis help lists all commands.

Good to know

  • The score is the sum of stats by your spec's weights. It is not a DPS simulation.
  • Sockets on items of item level 100 or higher count as if filled with the best gem for your weights, the way Pawn does. Gems and enchants you already have don't count.
  • Procs and on-use effects are described but not scored.
  • Drop chances come from cmangos and are approximate.
