Legacy Achievements Reforged

Legacy Achievements Reforged is a World of Warcraft Forever addon that brings back the classic achievement experience introduced in Wrath of the Lich King, while integrating Forever's native Legacy Challenges, progression, and rewards.

The goal is to bridge the gap between traditional WoW achievements and Forever's Legacy System, giving players a unified way to track their accomplishments across Azeroth.

Core Features

1. Classic Wrath Achievement Interface

Recreates the familiar Wrath-style achievement window, including parchment backgrounds, achievement shields, category navigation, completion dates, progress bars, and expandable achievement entries.

2. Integrated Legacy Challenges

Combines Forever's native Legacy Challenges with traditional achievements under shared categories, including Exploration, Quests, Professions, Dungeons & Raids, Reputation, PvP, Classes, and Feats of Strength.

3. Character and Account Progression

Maintains separate progression systems:

• Achievement Points: Earned through individual character accomplishments.
• Legacy Points: Earned through Forever's native, account-wide Legacy progression.

The interface distinguishes completed character achievements from native Legacy completions using gold and blue visual accents.

4. Legacy Rewards and Talent Trees

Provides access to Forever's existing Legacy Rewards and Legacy Trees within the same interface, preserving the game's native progression and reward functionality.

5. Achievement Tracking

Supports a growing collection of classic achievements involving exploration, professions, combat, collections, and other activities. Some achievements use custom event-based tracking, while others depend on available game APIs.

6. Statistics

Includes a statistics section for viewing character accomplishments and gameplay activity, with support dependent on the data exposed by the Forever client.

7. Customizable Interface

Features a movable Wrath-inspired window, adjustable display sizes, search and completion filters, expandable categories, and achievement details.

Current Development Status

The core interface and native Legacy integration are implemented, but the addon is still being refined.

Current development priorities include improving visual consistency, correcting exploration and cross-character tracking, refining achievement criteria, and ensuring accurate completion states. Some achievements remain limited by the data available through Forever's client.

Project Vision

Legacy Achievements Reforged aims to make achievements meaningful again in WoW Forever—not simply by restoring the original Wrath achievement list, but by adapting it to Forever's gameplay, economy, progression systems, and community.

The long-term vision includes improved quest tracking, Loremaster-style progression, more accurate character statistics, and additional achievements designed specifically for Forever.
