1.60.17 - 12th October 2026

• For 'Enhance minimap' ('Interface'), enabling 'Square minimap' will prevent 'Rotate minimap' (a setting in Edit Mode) from being applied. You cannot have both a square minimap and rotation.
• Reversed the changes to the 'Disable bag automation' option ('System').
• Taint logging will be disabled for now because having it enabled causes fake errors to show up that will lead users to report and investigate problems that don't exist and are only caused by having taint logging enabled. This is a temporary change.
• Updated flight times.

1.60.16 - 11th October 2026

• The 'Show Wowhead links' option ('Interface') now works with the new legacy challenges panel (links are shown at the top under the legacy points progress bar).
• For 'Show volume slider' ('Interface'), fixed the position of the slider on the character frame.
• For 'Show player chain' ('Interface'), you can now choose both the modern chains and the classic chains.
• For 'Enhance minimap' ('Interface'), added a visual effect dropdown menu so you can choose a visual effect for the minimap.
• For 'Enhance tooltip' ('Interface'), tooltips will now show whatever information they can within secrets rules instead of bypassing the tooltip entirely.
• For 'Mute custom sounds' ('System'), added a 'Sound finder' button. You can use it to find the sound ID for any sound in the game.
• For 'Set edit mode layout' ('Settings'), fixed a situational issue which may have caused your chosen edit mode layout to not load under certain circumstances.
• The 'Set chat font size' option ('Chat') is now 'More chat font sizes'. It now adds additional font sizes to the chat font size menu.
• The 'Filter chat messages' option ('Chat') is not currently available because of an issue in the current beta.
• The 'Disable bag automation' option ('System') now works with many more interactions and bags will no longer automatically close.
• For 'Media', added movie 'New Horizons'. Watch in 'Movies' or listen in 'Various > Cinematics'.
• For dropdown menus in the addon configuration panel, you can now use the mousewheel to cycle through the items by pointing over an open menu or a closed one.
• Updated flight times.

• Added 'Show druid power bar' ('Interface'). If checked and you are logged in with a druid, a power bar will be shown in the player frame when your character is in cat or bear form.

1.60.14 - 7th October 2026

• For 'Show flight times' ('System'), the 'Frequent Flier' perk is now supported and factored into flight times. Contributions and flight data will always show the flight time without the perk but the flight map node tooltips will show the flight time with the perk (if your character has it). Any routes with multiple valid flight times will no longer show flight time information or ask for contributions.

• The 'Show Wowhead links' option ('Interface') now supports the new 'Simple map frame' setting in Leatrix Maps.

• Note that native game controller support in Wow Forever is still in alpha development stage and may cause issues until Blizzard has progressed further along with developing the feature.

• Added 'Disable drunken haze' ('System'). If enabled, the drunken haze effect will be disabled.
• For 'Enhance tooltip' ('Interface'), fixed a secrets issue and an issue which caused creature tooltips to show the creature type twice.
• For 'Set weather density' ('System'), the settings now range from very low to high as Forever does not support completely disabling weather.
• For 'Mute game sounds' ('System'), the 'Shouts' setting has been removed as it's not needed in Forever.
• The 'Disable screen glow' setting ('System') has been removed as it's no longer used in Forever.
• The media player now works correctly and will be updated as the beta progresses. Also fixed an issue which caused the media player panel to be hidden after watching a movie.

• For 'Show train all button' ('Interface'), the button will no longer show for trainer frames that use training points (such as hunter beast training).
• For 'Web link', links will now point to Forever pages on Wowhead.
