KometTool

KometTool is a lightweight personal-use UI addon for World of Warcraft Retail, focused on making item information, bags, and everyday UI interactions clearer and more convenient.

Features

Item Information

• Shows equipment slot names and item levels on the Character panel and Blizzard's Inspect panel.
• Shows the inspected player's average item level.
• Shows equipment slot names and item levels on equipment items in chat links, loot windows, merchant pages, buyback pages, item-receipt alerts, and loot history.

Komet Combined Bag

• Replaces the default bag display with a categorized combined bag.
• Supports sorting, visual order management for items in the same category, and equipment slot/item-level overlays.

Action Bar and Chat

• Styles Blizzard action bar hotkeys with configurable font size, outline, compact abbreviations, and white/out-of-range red color behavior.
• Styles Blizzard action bar spell charges and item counts with configurable font size, outline, and color.
• Adds a compact chat channel switcher for Say, Yell, Party, Instance, Raid, Guild, and currently enabled common channels.
• Use /rl to reload the UI quickly.

Compatibility and Scope

KometTool is designed for Retail and Blizzard's default UI. It only adjusts explicitly supported Blizzard UI components and does not replace third-party action bars, bags, or inspect panels.
