KnightOps 1.3.3 – Operational Awareness Update

This update is a major behavioral refinement pass for KnightOps.

A lot of work in this version focused on making the addon feel less like raw automation and more like a calm operational system that understands real raid behavior.

One major issue I noticed during live testing was that if a player was already busy in another group after the Tractor had already started, KnightOps was not always great at scooping them back up once they became available again.

Example:
I was helping a friend in another group, the raid started inviting while I was still busy, and after I finally dropped group later, KnightOps was not reacquiring me aggressively enough. I even found myself relogging just to help the addon notice me faster.

This release improves that behavior significantly.

KnightOps is now much more persistent about reacquiring previously-busy planned raiders once they leave outside groups. The radar logic is more aggressive and better at recovering players who become available mid-invite stream.

Another major addition is the new BRB grace behavior.

Previously, if a player briefly left the raid for summons, world buffs, mage portals, trades, or temporary side groups, the Tractor would immediately try pulling them back in. While technically functional, the timing felt socially aggressive.

KnightOps now recognizes temporary departures from previously-present raiders and applies a short BRB grace window before aggressive reacquisition resumes.

After the grace expires, the Tractor automatically resumes active recovery and instantly scoops the player back into raid as soon as they become available again.

This creates behavior that feels much more natural during real raid logistics while still preserving the “persistent radar” philosophy of the addon.

Other major improvements in this release:

-Driver / observer synchronization

-Assist clients now see the lead’s active Tractor state

-Shared operational visibility between lead and assistants

-Shared advertise title sync

-Improved alias sharing foundations between officers

-Better queue explainability

-Busy / offline / declined state visibility

-Reduced addon chat spam

-UI-first operational signaling

-Improved synced officer awareness

KnightOps is increasingly evolving into a synchronized raid operations board rather than a simple invite helper.

One of the core design realizations behind this update was:

“Successful automation can still feel socially wrong if timing is wrong.” Too short and it feels annoying to raiders, too long and if feels like the lighthouse doesn't care about them lol

This release is heavily focused on solving that problem.

Thanks to everyone testing the addon live in real raid conditions and helping expose the weird human edge cases that only appear during actual raid assembly.

Special Note: There is an expectation that the raid comp wants to raid, so for people that just leave for other plans and decide not to raid anymore in the event... they might still get a delayed invite, That can't really be helped in classic (such a rare situation hopefully)
