Klee’s Distance
Shows the distance to enemies on their nameplates, color-coded per class, plus a movable target distance text. For WoW Forever. English and German.
Klee's Distance shows how far away a unit is, right on its nameplate and on your target.
Features
- Distance text on every nameplate (enemies, friendly and neutral units), also in combat
- Color steps by distance, set up automatically for your class and talents (melee classes, hunters, casters), editable per character and per druid form
- Optional coloring of the unit's name
- Target distance as a separate, movable text with four formats: Span (30 to 35), At least (30+), Rounded down (30) and Exact distance
- Exact numbers for group and raid members, ranges for everyone else (the game only tells addons whether a unit is within reach of spells, items and interactions)
- Choose where the text sits on the health bar, its size, outline and update rate
- English and German, selectable in the options

Commands
/kdist - open the options
/kdist check - list the range checks that answer for your target
/kdist target fix | free | home | where - fix, free, reset or show the target text position
/kdist reset - restore the default settings

Inspiration and credits
Klee's Distance was inspired by two good addons and brings their ideas together: NameplateDistance by Nedyar and TargetDistance by LierLin. Thank you to both authors. The target distance part is my own implementation; parts of the nameplate code are based on NameplateDistance and keep its MIT license notice.
