This addon is only for non-chinese player in Titan Reforged Classic
It will focuse on translating Chinese version common gaming slang to English version.
There are 3 things u have to know:
- This addon should be able to help you understand what are they taking about in chat by few words translated. And this addon will never translate sentence. It just translates few key words.
- This addon will not translate what u typed to other players. KeyWords translations just show up on ur screen.
- Translations not 100% accurate. Because some word has different meaning in different situation, such as "run" in English. The machine runs well. She likes to run in the park. 1st means working well, 2st means moving faster with legs. I will give u a translation example about "来(come)" later.
Im not a coder and not a english speaker. This addon is code by ChatGPT.
I just code the dict.lua file and u can edit dict.lua if u have new KeyWord to be translated. and u can edit core.lua for changing KeyWords colors.
By default, it's yellow for hight Original words and red for translations with in ().
Example 1:
Original sentence in chat: “20宝库 来 dz fs FZ nq 16=4."
It will be shown as: “20宝库(VoA)来(come)dz(rogue) fs(mage) FZ(ProtWarr) nq(Hpala) 16=(waiting)4."
It means: "20-players go Vault of Archavon, need rogue / mage / ProtWarr / Holypala, 16 waiting for 4."
Example 2:
Original sentence in chat: “MC 70分钟速通 T3N2R3 DPS前二31 来各职业."
It will be shown as: “MC 70分钟(min)速通(fast run)T3N2R3(tank&healer&leader get extra gold)DPS前2(top2)31 来(come)各职业(all class)"
It means: "MC 70mins fast run. Every tank will get 3k extra gold, Every healer will get 2k extra gold, RaidLeader will get 3k extra gold, DPS top1 get 3k extra gold, DPS in second place will get 1k extra gold, need/waitting for every class."
If u cant understand this two examples, pls dont download this addon, it will help u nothing...
There will no upate with high probability. Unless there are lots of Verse keywords need to be added in.
If so, maybe creat a github fot this addon‘s dict.lua . u guys need help each other more.
There maybe will have some switches for keyword category or channel. idk. Maybe decided based on the number of users.
