KeywordMute 2.0.0

A rebuild: manage your muted words in a proper window instead of chat commands.

New

  • KeywordMute window, in Blizzard's style (type /kmute, or click KeywordMute in the addons button by the minimap).
  • Muted Words tab: type a word or phrase and press Mute. See how many messages each word has hidden; select one and press Unmute.
  • Hidden Messages tab: the last 100 messages KeywordMute hid, with the day, channel, player and the matched word highlighted. Hover to read the whole message; right-click to show it in chat or unmute that word.
  • Whole-word matching: muting "ass" no longer hides "pass" or "class". Phrases work too.
  • Choose which chats to filter: public channels (Trade, General, LookingForGroup…) and say/yell/emotes by default; whispers and group/guild chat can be turned on.
  • Friends and guildmates are never muted (optional), and neither are your own messages.
  • Battle.net whispers and community channels can now be filtered.
  • New settings page in Options > AddOns > KeywordMute.

Fixed

  • /kmute status error.
  • The hidden-message count counted the same message several times.
  • No more chat message at every login.

Good to know

  • Your muted words carry over.
  • In dungeons, raids and PvP the game keeps chat away from addons, so nothing can be muted there; the window says "Paused here".
  • Shortcuts still work: /kmute add <word>, /kmute remove <word>, /kmute on / off.
