Description

KeybindDisplay fixes one of WoW's most annoying UI limitations — when you bind keys like Alt+Mouse Wheel or other long combinations to action bar buttons, Blizzard truncates the label to something unreadable like a-..., making it useless as a visual reference.

This addon hides Blizzard's built-in hotkey text and replaces it with clean, fully readable labels across all default action bars.

Examples:

  • Alt+Mouse Wheel Up → A-MWU
  • Shift+Mouse Wheel Down → S-MWD
  • Ctrl+R → C-R
  • Shift+G → S-G

Features:

  • Works on all 5 default Blizzard action bars
  • Labels only appear on buttons that have an action slotted
  • Automatically updates when you change bindings
  • /kbd to force refresh
  • /kbd debug for diagnostics

Notes:

  • TBC Classic (2.5.x) only
  • Default Blizzard bars only — Bartender/Dominos not supported
