KeyAudit
What's new
9.3.0
Everything in the 9.x line is one story: the addon was measuring the wrong things and reporting them confidently. If you installed an earlier build, run /ka wipe — bad measured cooldown durations are stored per character and will keep producing wrong numbers otherwise.
Fixed — measurement Rotational spells were being scored as unused cooldowns. Holy Light, Light of Dawn, Shield of the Righteous and similar were reported with "~37 unused casts" — a category error. Two causes, both now fixed: isOnGCD was being read from a polling loop, which Blizzard's own documentation says not to do. A global cooldown looked like a real cooldown, and the addon then "learned" a fake duration from the gap between casts. A spell qualified as a cooldown if it had either been seen unavailable or had a plausible duration. It now needs both, plus a hard cap: nothing you cast 30+ times in a key is a cooldown. Idle time is no longer applied to reactive spells. Externals, personal defensives, interrupts and trinkets report cast counts only. "You didn't press Divine Protection for 20 minutes" was never a finding. Deaths were double-counted. Dead state was keyed by unit token and cleared when a player went out of range, so anyone who walked away and came back still dead was recorded twice. Now keyed by GUID. Pull sizes counted friendly nameplates, inflating "20 enemies" pulls. Hostile, living units only. Session statistics reset mid-key. The tracked list rebuilt on SPELLS_CHANGED and equipment changes, wiping counters each time — idle figures were reporting time since the last rebuild, often off by an order of magnitude. The cooldown list was nearly empty. Only 2 of 8 Cooldown Manager categories were read, the query was pre-filtered at the C level, and entries whose spell ID lives in an override field were dropped. Specialization was never detected, so pairing rules never loaded for anyone. Added Pulls view — the key segmented by combat, each pull sized by enemy count, flagging the ones you went through without pressing anything. Grouped cooldown table — throughput, externals, personal defensives, interrupts and control, trinkets and consumables. Death clustering and wipe detection. Deaths within 10 seconds are one incident. A wipe is measured as most of the group going down together, not several deaths close in time. Per-dungeon trends, falling back to overall history when there isn't enough. Options panel under Esc → Options → AddOns, with a spell blacklist. Combat time in the report header, so idle figures can be sanity-checked against it. /ka spells now explains why each excluded spell was excluded. /ka ignore <spell>. Changed Wipes are excluded from blame. An external saves one person, not five. Wipes are reported separately as a mechanic or route problem. Deaths are reported as incidents rather than bodies. Multiple "never cast" findings collapse into one line; interrupts and trinkets no longer produce them. Downtime reporting is off by default — stuns and channelled spells both read as dead time. /ka downtime on to enable. Removed The Rogue stealth-opener reminder. A live in-combat nudge with no counterpart in the report — a different kind of addon wearing this one's name. It ships separately as Stealth Opener.
