Key Collector

KeyCollector helps Mythic+ groups quickly decide what key to run next by collecting and sharing each party member's current keystone and seasonal dungeon bests.

What the addon does

• Detects and stores your currently owned Mythic+ keystone (dungeon + level).
• Shares your key data automatically with your party/raid/instance group through addon messages.
• Tracks party members' key info in a live in-game window.
• Shows each player's:
  • current key
  • current key level
  • highest seasonal best (from shared dungeon best data)
• Sorts players by strongest available key and best performance.
• Calculates a recommended key for the group based on total potential progression gains.
• Supports manual refresh and basic debug commands.

How this improves gameplay

• Reduces the usual “who has what key?” chat spam when forming Mythic+ groups.
• Makes key selection faster before and between runs.
• Gives a clearer view of group progression, not just current key ownership.
• Helps the party pick a key that benefits the group most (instead of guessing).
• Saves time when pugging, boosting alts, or organizing regular dungeon teams.

Typical use case

1. Group members join and the addon shares key data automatically.
2. Open the party panel with /kcp (or /kcparty).
3. See all available keys and each member's bests at a glance.
4. Use the recommended key line to choose a run that gives the best total party progression.

Commands

• /kcp or /kcparty : Toggle party key window
• /kcp clear : Clear local party cache

Notes

• Works best when multiple group members use KeyCollector.
• The addon only uses in-game addon communication channels (party/raid/instance chat addon messages).
