## Description

Kal's Item Tracker (KIT) is a lightweight, high-performance tool designed to
unify your character roster's inventory. Whether an item is buried in a bank
alt's mailbox, equipped on a long-forgotten level 10, or tucked away in a
guild bank tab, KIT finds it instantly. 

Built with the modern Ace3 framework, KIT provides a seamless interface that
feels like a native part of the World of Warcraft experience.

## Features

- **Roster-Wide Search:** Search by item name or ItemID across all characters
  on your realm with a single command.
- **Intelligent Sorting:** Results are automatically alphabetized by character
  name, making it easy to identify exactly who has what.

  Personalize how Bags, Bank, Equipped, Mail, and Guild Bank data appear.
- **Minimal Footprint:** No background "heartbeat" or constant data syncing.

- **Guild Bank Awareness:** View "Last Seen" snapshots of your guild's vault,
  providing "Suggested" locations for shared reagents and supplies.

## Commands

- `/kitfind [item]` - Search for an item across all tracked locations.
- `/kitconfig`      - Open the Ace3 Configuration and Search dashboard.
- `/kitdebug [on/off]` - Toggle verbose data collection logging.

## Usage & Reliability

### Automatic Data Collection
KIT is designed to be "invisible." It listens for standard Blizzard events.
Simply open your Bags, Bank, or Guild Bank to refresh the local database. 
No manual "saving" is ever required.

### The "Suggested" State (Guild Banks)
Because other players can withdraw items while you are offline, KIT labels 
Guild Bank results as "Suggested." It represents the most accurate state 
from the last time you personally visited the vault.

### Privacy First
Unlike older trackers, KIT does not broadcast your inventory to other guild
members or use hidden chat channels. Your data stays on your machine.

## Installation

1. Download the `KalsItemTracker` distribution.
2. Place the folder into your `World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns/`
   directory.
3. Launch the game and ensure "Kal's Item Tracker" is enabled in the AddOns
   menu at the character select screen.
