This update focuses on latency-measurement reliability, settings persistence, and reducing the processing caused by repeated queries.

Highlights

Latency

• JustFilters now loads its own compatible copy of LibLatency, without requiring DBM, BigWigs, oRA3, or another addon to provide the library locally.

• Remote players using compatible addons can respond to latency requests even when JustFilters is the only related addon installed on the local client.

• Compatibility with external LibLatency copies loaded by other addons has been preserved.

• The native JustFilters protocol remains available as an additional communication method between two JustFilters users.

• Latency requests now explicitly select the appropriate channel:

  • PARTY

  • INSTANCE_CHAT

  • RAID

• Improved response matching for players using Name-Realm formatting.

• Responses containing only a short player name can now be matched correctly to the corresponding group member.

• Ambiguous short names are not matched automatically, preventing latency results from being assigned to the wrong player.

• The three spaced measurement attempts are preserved before a player is considered unresponsive.

• Rapid group-composition changes now cancel outdated request sequences, preventing accumulated timers, unnecessary messages, and stale results.

• A valid response received between attempts correctly removes the player from the pending-measurement list.

• The no-measurement warning is displayed only after all attempts have been completed.

Settings and Profiles

• Fixed an overwrite during loading and profile switching that could incorrectly restore ignore-related settings.

• Affected settings now remain correctly saved after:

  • /reload;

  • a new login;

  • switching characters;

  • switching profiles.

• Existing profiles continue to preserve the user’s manually selected preferences.

• Fixed automatic language selection when creating the first profile for additional characters:

  • Brazilian realms use Português (Brasil);

  • Latin American realms use Español;

  • all other realms use English.

• Automatic language selection occurs only when the profile is created and does not later overwrite the user’s manual language choice.

GlobalIgnoreList and Performance

• The normalized GlobalIgnoreList index is now reused by the assisted queue and in-group player detection.

• Removed repeated full-list scans for every applicant or group member being evaluated.

• Reduced processing, temporary allocations, and garbage-collection pressure during long sessions with the Group Finder open.

• The native World of Warcraft ignore list remains available as a fallback when GlobalIgnoreList is unavailable.

Compatibility

• Compatibility has been preserved with:

  • DBM;

  • BigWigs;

  • oRA3;

  • other compatible LibLatency copies;

  • GlobalIgnoreList;

  • Raider.IO.

• No profile or settings reset is required after updating.
