JMCast

JMCast is a lightweight mouseover casting addon for World of Warcraft: Forever.

It lets you cast spells and abilities on the unit under your cursor without changing your current target. You can keep an enemy selected, hover an ally on Blizzard’s native party or raid frames, press your spell key, and JMCast will cast on the hovered unit while keeping your original target selected.

JMCast is not limited to healing spells. You can manually add compatible abilities by localized spell name or Spell ID, including healing, buffs, utility, dispels, damage spells, and other abilities supported by the game’s targeting rules.

The addon can use the game/client language automatically, and the interface can also be changed manually from JMCast settings.

Designed for WoW Forever

JMCast is built and tested for WoW Forever 1.60.1.

The addon focuses on casting tools only and intentionally leaves unit-frame presentation to the default Blizzard interface.

Example

Keep an enemy selected → hover an ally on a Blizzard party frame → press Rejuvenation or Healing Touch → the spell is cast on the hovered ally while the enemy remains selected.

Notes

JMCast respects the normal restrictions of the WoW client. A spell can only be cast on targets that the game itself considers valid for that ability.
