JicksPlates

JicksPlates is a Midnight (WoW 12.1) nameplate addon: stacked health bars that stay readable in combat, with aggro, casters, tankbusters, and kick timing.

Health bars

• Anti-overlap stacking so plates don’t sit on top of each other
• Aggro fill — Tank: red = you have aggro, green = you don’t, purple = another tank. DPS/heal is inverted (green = you have aggro)
• Target — thicker outline (white if it’s not a caster/tankbuster)

Outlines (mob type, not aggro)

• Blue = caster (thicker when targeted)
• Mauve = tankbuster (Shivan Punisher, Wrathguard Flayer, Defier Draghar, Ashseer Flamelasher, …)

Casts / kicks

• Green pulse = interruptible and your kick is ready
• Red pulse = interruptible but kick is on cooldown
• Gray = uninterruptible / shielded
• Violet flash = Blizzard important casts + your priority kick list (stronger pulse, glow, white flash)

Cast colors are drawn as a solid overlay so 12.1 doesn’t leave the bar stuck yellow.

Names

Bold, class-colored names for the cast target / who has aggro — built to stay readable when Midnight nameplate APIs return secret values.

Settings

Type /jp or open Game Menu → Options → AddOns → JicksPlates.

• General — enable features, combat options
• Spacing — vertical gap between stacked plates
• Colors — stock palette or custom cast / outline colors
• /jp cast — debug overlay on the targeted mob’s cast bar
