ItemTracker Changelog

1.98 — 2026-03-15

Features

  • HUD Cfg tab — New dedicated tab for overlay/HUD settings. All overlay checkboxes (Enable ItemOV, Enable Mob OV, Include Bank, Lock Overlay, Show Total Value, Show Total Mobs) moved from Cfg to the new HUD Cfg tab.
  • Track Multi — New button in Cfg › Tracking section that opens a popup to configure automatic tracking skill rotation. Select which tracking skills to cycle (e.g., Find Herbs, Find Minerals) and set the switch interval in frames (1–120). Useful in TBC Anniversary where only one tracking type can be active at a time.
  • Combat awareness — Track Multi now pauses rotation while in combat (InCombatLockdown()).
  • Shift+Right-click toggle — Shift+Right-click the minimap button to toggle Track Multi on/off without opening settings.
  • Silent rotation — Tracking switch sounds are muted (MuteSoundFile) and "Tracking X" system messages are suppressed during automatic rotation.
  • Track Multi timer reverted to seconds — Interval slider changed from 1–120 frames back to 1–10 seconds for clarity.
  • GatherMate2 & node tooltips preserved — When Enable Routes captures the minimap, GatherMate2 herb/ore/fish pins remain hoverable with tooltips, and WoW's built-in tracking node tooltips (yellow dots for herbs/ores/fish) still appear on hover. Clicks pass through to the game world.
  • Minimap Peek Key — Hold a configurable modifier key (ALT/CTRL/SHIFT) to temporarily enable mouse interaction on the captured minimap, allowing you to hover GatherMate2 pins and tracking nodes for tooltips. Cycle button in Cfg next to Enable Routes; set to NONE to disable. Minimap mouse state is saved per-child and properly restored when routes are toggled off.

UI

  • 6-tab layout — Tab bar now shows: Track, Announce, History, Log, HUD Cfg, Cfg. HUD Cfg contains overlay toggles and tracking options; Cfg contains AH, routes, Track Multi, sounds, and language settings.
  • Route Editor cleanup — Removed Ov Map, MM Alpha, and Ed Zoom sliders from the editor. Ov Map and MM Alpha default to 0 internally. Editor zoom is controlled exclusively via mouse wheel on the canvas. Row 1 now shows Ov Route and Line Alpha; Row 2 shows Ov Scale, Ov Size, and Color buttons.
  • Route Editor Row 4 — GatherMate2 node filter — Cull slider and GatherMate2 controls moved to their own Row 4. The old single "GatherMate2 nodes" checkbox is replaced by a GM Nodes popup button that lets you toggle individual node types (Herb, Ore, Fish, Treasure, Gas) independently. Selection is persisted via db.gmNodeTypes. Button label shows "All", "—", or first-letter abbreviations (e.g. "HOF").
  • Waypoint count moved — The waypoint count label (total waypoints added) now appears to the right of the zone/map label in the top-left corner of the editor, instead of at the bottom.
