Ironman BTW

Ironman BTW

A WoW addonthat tracks the Ironman Challenge ruleset from level 1.

Modes

- **Hardcore**: one life. Your first death fails the run. You can then carry on as a Regular run that stays marked as a fallen Hardcore run.
- **Regular**: deaths are allowed and counted. Every other rule still applies.

A run can only start on a level 1 character (or a level 55 Death Knight).

Rules
- Do not die. (Hardcore mode only)
- Grey/white gear ONLY | Every equipped slot
- No enchants | Permanent enchants in item links; temporary weapon enchants (stones, oils) except for classes that make their own
- No primary professions
- No secondary professions
- No potions, elixirs, flasks, healthstones | Bag and action-bar use, item spell casts, elixir/flask auras. Warlocks may use healthstones
- No groups, gifts, portals, summons | Joining a group, taking mail from another player, accepting a summon. Mage portals only work for group members, so the group check covers them
- No dungeons, raids, world bosses, PvP | Instance type; fighting a known world boss
- No guild bank or guild repairs | Guild-funded repairs and guild bank withdrawals
- No boosting | Gaining more than one level at once
- No food or outside buffs | Well Fed buffs, buff scrolls, and buffs from other players or world events (you get 15 seconds to right-click them off)
- No trading | Completed trades
- Addon must be on the whole time | Levels gained while the addon wasn't recording

Nothing is blocked. The addon warns (tooltips, chat, an on-screen alert) and records.

Commands

- `/iron`: open the window
- `/iron start hardcore|regular`
- `/iron check <name>`: ask another player for their run (or target them and use `/iron check`)
- `/iron log`: recent flags
- `/iron decline`: toggle auto-declining invites and trades
- `/iron share`: toggle guild sharing
- `/iron announce`: toggle the guild chat message when a Hardcore run dies (on by default)
- `/iron alerts`, `/iron minimap`
- `/iron abandon`: delete this character's run

Notes

Saved data is plain SavedVariables, so this is an honor-system tracker, not anti-cheat.
