I've decided to no longer support updates for this addon as it's become to far out of date, and the function of the addon itself are not reliable enough for me to justify keeping it. I'd like to recommend all users of this addon to visit and try SavedInstances as a suitable alternative which is being continually updated. I'd like to thank and apologies to all that like and have used this addon.; sorry for the inconvenience
InstanceLockOut is designed to be small, lightweight and super fast. If you've used my other addon (AssistMe) you'll notice a familiar colour scheme and layout. I try to keep my addons console based as that's what I'm used to, and I like my colour co-ordinated system xD. If you haven't used AssistMe you'll still feel comfortable with this addon as it is.. well five? commands and generally the addon does everything without any interaction. As I'm rambling I'll go over what this addon actually does.
InstanceLockOut simply keeps an eye out on the last Five instances that you've entered (Account bound). The reason? well ! to warn you when you've hit that dreadful Five instances per hour mark. As well as do the basic, it will warn you once you've entered your last instance for that hour, and upon trying to enter another instance (or typing the command) will tell you how long you will have to wait till you can enter another instance. Thats pretty much it. No fancy frames, just simple chat message that are coloured nicely and won't spam you, unless you spam it!. See bellow for the commands and happy using!

List of current /commands
Command Prefixes: /instancelockout or /ilo
/instancelockout or /ilo - Will display the addons instructions.
/instancelockoutclear or /iloclear - Will clear the instance list. Use if the list gets corrupted. (Which it shouldn't! what have you done!)
/instancelockoutprint or /iloprint - Will print the instance list.
/instancelockoutreset or /iloreset - Will apply an instance reset to the list (not an actually instance reset, but makes the addon think there was) for use when you are not leader, but know a reset has taken place. Can be used inside instances, but you will have to exit and leave before the addon picks up your in a new instance.
/instancelockouttime or /ilotime - Will print the time remaining until you can enter another instance.
/instancelockoutenabled or /iloenabled - Will enable/disable InstanceLockOut.
Optional Plugins
Plugins add features to InstanceLockOut. Please note Plugins require InstanceLockOut as a dependency.
- InstanceLockOutHUD - dreamstate83 has created this lovely plugin, which displays number of instances entered, and time remaining in the LFD and LFR panes. I highly recommend this :).
Reason for creation
Was rather bored, was getting bugged when I got locked out one hour : / and wanted to make a new new addon! "Ta-Daa".
Problems/Work Arounds
So there are a few unavoidable problems with the addon. Lets put it this way, Blizzard certainly don't make it easy to keep good track of instance resets and such; there are many triggers for instance resetting that are undetectable. For example, at its current state it is impossible to tell if your party leader resets instances. There used to be more system messages, but they seemed to have dissapeared over the patches.
Currently if your party leader resets instances, you can use the 'reset' command to tell the addon a instance reset has taken place.
Reporting
This addon is new, but very basic. I created it as I created my addon framework that I incorporated into my other addon. As it stands this addon is very simple and I don't forsee any problems but please do leave a comment behind if you find an issue and your help is welcomed.
Suggestions
Please also feel free to leave behind suggestions and ideas that you think should be incorporated into/removed from this addon and I shall consider any that seem appropriate.
Final words
Thanks for taking an interest in this addon.
If you enjoyed this addon, check out my others! Hix
