Innervate Helper

Innervate Helper for Druid

Name

InnervateHelper

Summary

Pick your group's healer once, then see on their raid frame when Innervate is ready and when their mana runs low.

Description

English · Version française plus bas.

InnervateHelper is for druids who use Innervate. You choose which healer gets your Innervate, and the addon highlights that player's party/raid frame, shows whether Innervate is ready, and warns you when the healer's mana drops below a threshold you set.

The addon never casts anything. You always cast Innervate yourself.

Features

  • Choose your healer out of combat, from the settings panel or by targeting them and typing /ivh target. Only players with the healer role (or no role assigned) can be chosen.
  • Marker on the healer's frame: the Innervate icon appears on the chosen healer's party/raid frame, greyed out while Innervate is on cooldown. An optional coloured outline is available (green = ready, grey = cooldown, orange = unknown).
  • Low-mana dashes: when Innervate is ready and the healer's mana is below your threshold (30% by default, adjustable from 5% to 95%), blue dashes spin around their frame.
  • Combat banner: a small movable banner shows "Innervate > Healer name" and the spell state during combat, with an optional sound when Innervate becomes ready.
  • Ready-made macro: one click creates the character macro InnervateIVH (/cast [@healer,help,nodead] Innervate). It updates automatically when you choose another healer. Use "Pick up macro" to drop it on an action bar.
  • Settings panel (/ivh panel):
    • General tab: mana threshold slider and display options on the left; the group's healers on the right, with class colours and specialization icons.
    • Macro tab: macro tools and the full list of commands.
  • English and French interface.

How to use

  1. Join a group, then type /ivh panel.
  2. In the General tab, click Choose next to the healer you want to Innervate.
  3. Set the mana threshold with the slider.
  4. Optional: in the Macro tab, click Pick up macro and drop it on an action bar.

Good to know

  • Midnight addon rules are respected. The healer is identified out of combat only. If your group changes during combat, the frame marker is hidden until combat ends, and the banner says "to recheck".
  • No guessing. If the game does not let addons read Innervate's cooldown, the addon shows "Unknown state", never "Ready".
  • Mana is checked by the game, not the addon. The addon cannot read another player's mana. The game compares it to your threshold and only shows or hides the dashes. That is why there is no sound or text alert for low mana.
  • Specialization icons: yours appears right away. Other healers are inspected one at a time while the panel is open and you are out of combat; until then, their class icon is shown.
  • Group frames: the addon looks for standard party/raid frames, so most frame addons should work. Tested with EllesmereUI. If no frame is found, the combat banner still works.
  • Settings are saved per account in InnervateHelperDB.

Requirements

World of Warcraft Retail (Midnight, 12.x). A druid with Innervate.

Commandes : /ivh aide.
