IC Raid Companion
The raider's side of a loot council. Your raid lead runs the management addon — IC Raid Companion lets you answer the need round, never miss a win, hands the right item to the right person, and keeps your BiS list in front of the council.
No configuration. No server connection. Install it and raid.
Formerly released as IC Loot Companion. If you still have an
IC-Loot-Companionfolder in your AddOns directory, delete it — otherwise both addons load and answer at the same time.
Features
The need round
After a boss dies, the raid lead opens a need round. A window appears with the items that dropped and one button row per item:
BIS · High Need · Spec · Transmog · Pass — plus Pass on everything for the whole list at once.
The round runs 60 seconds by default, with the remaining time shown as a number and a bar. No answer is not a blocker: you simply show up as "no reply". If an item is on your wishlist, it is marked "Your BiS item" right there.
Your raid lead can rename the classes and add their own — whatever they configure travels with every round, so you always see the labels your guild actually uses.
In combat the window shrinks to a small bar so you can still answer. Closed it by accident? /icrc bedarf brings it back while the round is running.
Win alerts you can't miss
When an item is assigned to you: a chat line, a raid-warning style message in the middle of the screen, and a sound. The alert names who is holding your item, so you know exactly whom to trade — Blizzard's trade window is 2 hours.
You also get a heads-up when an item from your wishlist drops for someone else, including set tokens for the slot you want.
Trade auto-fill
Open a trade with the winner and the assigned item is placed for you — no digging through bags. It is deliberately careful:
Only items with a visible trade timer are placed. No timer, nothing happens.
Only items that are actually yours to hand over.
If you carry two tradeable copies of the same item, the addon places nothing and says so in the log. Better you decide than the bag order.
Accepting the trade is always your click. No confirmation is ever automated.
If someone else beats you to a trade of an assigned item, you get a warning — and the council is told, so nobody has to chase it down.
Graphical BiS wishlist
/icrc wlopens a paper-doll editor with all 16 equipment slots:Browse any raid of the current tier straight from the game's Encounter Journal — per boss, per difficulty (LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic)
Assign items by click (the right slot is detected automatically) or by drag & drop — from the built-in browser or straight from your bags
Shift-clicked item links are picked up automatically
Search across raids, dungeons and crafted gear
Your raid lead can hand out a BiS template for your specialisation — one click to apply
Your list goes to the raid lead automatically, so when your item drops the council sees at once who wants it. Your worn item level per slot travels along, so they can tell an upgrade from a sidegrade.
During progress your lead can lock the lists so nobody rewrites their wishes mid-raid. The lock is cooperative:
/icrc unlocklifts it locally and tells the leadership you did.Assignment overview & tooltips
/icrcshows every assignment in the raid: who won what, delivered or still open, yours highlighted. Item tooltips carry a line "assigned to X (open / handed over)", so everyone is looking at the same picture. There is a minimap button: left-click opens the assignments, right-click the wishlist.
Trust & safety
- Assignments, need rounds and lock messages are only accepted from the raid leader or assistants, fully qualified across realms — nobody can spoof loot messages.
- Only your own wishlist is ever transmitted, and only to your group.
- No data leaves the game client. No accounts, no uploads, no tracking.
- The addon never confirms a trade, never rolls for you, never closes a window on you.
FAQ
Do I need to set anything up? No. Install, done. Everything is driven by your raid lead's addon.
Nothing happens in my raid. The addon only becomes active when your leadership runs a compatible loot-management addon (comm protocol ICRC). Ask your raid lead.
Does it work outside raids? The wishlist editor works anywhere. Need rounds, win alerts and trade auto-fill are group content.
I closed the need window by accident. /icrc bedarf — as long as the round is still running.
Where is the log? /icrc protokoll opens a copyable log. It lives in memory only, so copy it out before you /reload.
