Hush Forever

First public release, built alongside the WoW: Forever beta.

Filtering

• Hides layer-invite spam, gold selling, boosting and account services, spam websites and Discord invites, and repeated messages from public chat (General, Trade, LocalDefense, say, yell, emote and whispers from strangers).
• Scores whole messages instead of blocking single words, so ordinary chat like "LF layer inv for the world boss" or "who would buy gold in a beta" stays visible.
• Sees through common tricks: digit swaps (4SM0N l4yer), lookalike letters from other alphabets, spaced-out words (a s m o n), hidden characters, and block-character decoration (███).
• Repeated messages are hidden only when the same player posts the same text within 30 seconds, so normal LFG and WTB reposts show.
• Never touches friends, Battle.net friends, guild, party or raid, guild/party/raid/instance chat, your own messages, or player-created channels.

See, undo and report

• "Hush: N" counter above the chat window; click it for the log of hidden messages.
• Resizable log with time, channel, sender and message, plus a tooltip showing why each line was hidden.
• Allow restores a message and never hides that player again. Mute turns off the rule that caught it for the session.
• Report and Report next open Blizzard's report window for real spammers, one click per report.

Options and commands

• Settings panel (/hush options): categories, sensitivity (Relaxed / Normal / Strict), your own terms, allowlist, an optional summary line instead of silent hiding, and chat-bubble hiding for hidden /say and /yell.
• /hush test <message> shows how any message would be scored, rule by rule. /hush debug traces decisions live.
• Share your setup with /hush export and /hush import.
• Optional macro backup for settings, in case Forever forgets addon settings between sessions.

Tuned on real Forever chat

Rules were checked against about 5,000 recorded lines of Stormwind Trade chat. They catch the gold-seller ads seen there (including ones written with lookalike letters) without hiding players who were talking about them. Tuning continues; if Hush hides a real message, click Allow and please report the text in the comments.
