Description
Hunter Codex — your Hunter companion for WoW Forever
Hunter Codex brings pet care, training, macros and damage tracking together in a compact, customizable addon.
Pet library
Browse pet abilities and ranks, find beasts that teach them, and explore available location information. Save your favourite beasts and highlight supported search areas on the world map.
Pet care
Keep your companion ready with a movable Feed Pet button, selected food, a compact loyalty and experience display, and configurable reminders for pet care, ammunition and supplies.
Hunter macro library
Create or update macros for Auto Shot, pet utility, melee utility, pet control, traps and common Hunter abilities. Short macro names keep action bars readable.
Smarter training
Left-click a skill to train it and right-click to ignore or restore it. Train All skips ignored skills, while filters keep the trainer list readable.
The separate What can I train? window helps you browse current-level and future training information without visiting a trainer, including available prices and spell icons.
Live damage meter
View other players through Blizzard’s native damage-meter data. Pet damage stays included in its owner’s total when Blizzard supplies it that way.
After combat, hover a player’s row to inspect ability damage, with player and pet contributions separated where the data allows.
Your colours, your layout
Choose a colour theme, adjust window size and opacity, lock window positions and configure meter visibility. A compact edge menu provides quick access to settings, the training guide and the pet library.
Optional merchant tools include junk selling and automatic repairs, with guild funds used when supported and permitted.
Getting started
-
Type /hc settings to open settings.
-
Type /hc to toggle the damage meter.
-
Hover over the edge-menu handle for quick access.
-
/huntercodex is also supported.
Compatibility
Designed for WoW Forever 1.60.1.
Damage tracking requires Blizzard’s native damage-meter API. Detailed ability and pet breakdowns are available after combat; live skill breakdowns are not supported. Unidentified damage remains unclassified.
Pet and training reference data may differ from Forever’s current game data. Map highlights indicate search areas, not guaranteed spawn positions.
