Hook and Haul

Hook and Haul is a small addon I made for WoW Forever to make fishing a little more interesting.

I wanted something simple that would track how long I've been fishing, what I've caught and how much it's all worth if I sold it to a vendor. So I decided to make one!

Features

• Fishing timer: Automatically starts when you begin fishing.
• Catch tracker: Keeps track of the items you've caught and how many of each.
• Vendor value: Shows how much your current haul is worth to a vendor.
• Personal best: Saves your most valuable haul so you can try to beat it next time.
• Minimap button: Opens and closes the addon without getting in the way.
• Session controls: Stop your timer or start a fresh fishing session whenever you like.

How to use

Just install the addon and start fishing!

The timer will start automatically when you cast your fishing rod. As you catch things, they'll be added to your session and the total vendor value will update.

You can click the minimap button to open the window and see how you're doing. There's also a session loot button if you want to see everything you've caught.

Your personal best is saved between sessions, so you can always try to beat your previous record.

Version 0.0.1 (Alpha)

This is the first version of Hook and Haul, so it's still very early days.

I'm learning addon development and wanted to make something useful while having a bit of fun with it. There might be a few bugs I've missed, but I'll be working on improving things as I go.

I've got a few ideas for future updates, including auction house prices and some more fishing statistics, but for now I want to keep things simple and get the basics working properly.
