HomeWatch — Release Notes (v1.1.1) — 2026-06-13

Summary

Feature and polish release adding multi-channel Open House announcements (Publicize Open House), a second configurable timed message, and a full Help tab reorganization. Fixes the two known issues from v1.1.0 related to the announcement popup and guest log scroll clipping. 

New

Publicize Open House

Replaces the previous "Announce in Guild" button with a full multi-channel announcement system. Sends to any combination of: Guild chat, General channel, Trade channel, and WoW Community channels. WoW Community channels (player-created groups) are detected via the C_Club API and appear alongside numbered channels — communities that do not appear as numbered channels are now supported.

• A preview popup lets you review the channel list and edit the message before sending. 
• Button only appears during an active Open House when at least one opted-in channel is available.
• Configurable in Options tab: four channel checkboxes (Guild, General, Trade, Community) and a customizable announcement message text box. 
• All seven tokens supported in the announcement message. 

Open House Timed Message 2

A second timed whisper sent to each guest after a separately configurable delay (Off, 1–10 minutes).

• Delay must be set to at or after Timed Message 1's delay.
• Cancels automatically if the guest leaves before the timer fires.
• Default text: "Enjoying your visit to [address], [name]? Feel free to send me a whisper if you have questions or want to chat!"
• Configurable in Options tab under Open House Timed Message 2.
• Note: timers start at guest join — guests already in the raid group when an Open House begins will not receive timed messages unless they rejoin.

Fixed

Announce in Guild popup edit box clips long text — fixed (was Known Issue in v1.1.0); now replaced entirely by the Publicize Open House popup.

Open House guest log clipped by announcement button — fixed (was Known Issue in v1.1.0); scroll frame offset now accounts for both action buttons correctly.

Improved Help Tab Sections are now in strict alphabetical order (Compliance through Welcome Whisper). Visual section index added at the top of the tab listing all 16 sections. Line spacing tightened for consistent visual rhythm throughout.

Options Tab Sections reordered to reflect the logical flow of a user's experience: My Homes → Pet Greeting → If a Pet Is Already Out → Guestbook Integration → Welcome Whisper → Thank You Whisper → Publicize Open House → Open House Greeting → Open House Timed Message → Open House Timed Message 2 → Open House Thank You → Reset. American English

All British spellings corrected: customisable → customizable (4 instances), sanitise → sanitize (1 instance). InfoLine consistency Announcement message InfoLine now matches the standard format used across all other custom message fields.

Known Issues

Open House state does not survive UI reload — host must restart the Open House; the existing-members prompt handles this gracefully. 

Corner ornaments (+) and resize grip (>>) render as empty boxes on some systems — atlas texture replacement still planned.

Community channel sending has not been live-tested inside a housing instance with actual WoW Communities; the feature is implemented and guarded but field-confirmation is pending.
