### HomeWatch — Release Notes (v1.1.0) — 2026-06-06 **Summary** Maintenance and integration release adding **Guestbook addon integration**, fixing the Open House peak attendance calculation, merging Open House guest stats into the overall Stats tab, and improving Help tab documentation and Options tab spacing throughout. --- ### New - **Guestbook Integration** - HomeWatch now detects the Guestbook addon (by HousingNotes) and prompts you to sign when visiting a home that has it installed. - Three modes configurable in Options tab under **Guestbook Integration**: - **Show popup** (default) — a Stone Hearth popup appears on arrival with an optional personal note field and Sign / Not now buttons. - **Autosign** — HomeWatch signs the guestbook automatically on arrival with no prompt. - **Ignore** — Guestbook integration disabled entirely. - Popup only fires when visiting someone else's home — never your own. - Respects the Guestbook addon's 30-second signing cooldown. - Fully documented in the Help tab. --- ### Fixed - **Peak Attendance Calculation** - Open House peak visitor count was incorrectly counting all participants ever, including those who had already left. Peak now correctly reflects the highest concurrent guest count at any one moment. - Previously, peak could equal total participants even in a very long event — this is now fixed. - **Open House Guests in Overall Stats** - Open House raid guests were previously logged only to the Open House event history and not counted in the overall Stats tab (unique visitors, busiest hour, most frequent guest, etc.). - From v1.1.0 onward, Open House guests are written to the main visitor log tagged with `source = "openhouse"` and are included in all Stats calculations. - Existing visit log entries are automatically tagged `source = "visit"` on load. - Pre-v1.1.0 Open House events remain in the Open House event history but are not retroactively merged into Stats. --- ### Improved - **Help Tab** - New **Stats** section explaining what is counted and the v1.1.0 forward-only merge note. - New **Guild Chat Announcement** section — previously undocumented. - Open House Mode section now explains which address token resolves to which home. - Open House Mode section now clarifies that guests are not logged in real time during an Open House — they appear in the event history when the event ends. - Detection Methods: Nameplate radar entry updated to reflect that nameplate unit IDs are not available inside housing instances. - **Guestbook Integration** section added. - Version stamp added to the bottom of the Help tab. - **Options Tab Spacing** - InfoLine descriptions above customizable message text boxes now correctly account for text wrapping — no more overlapping text on long descriptions. - Added breathing room between InfoLines and their associated controls throughout. --- ### Known Issues - Open House state does not survive UI reload — host must restart the Open House; the existing-members prompt handles this gracefully. - Guild Chat Announcement popup edit box clips long text — fix queued for v1.1.1. - Open House guest log may be clipped by the Announce in Guild button when scrolling with many guests — fix queued for v1.1.1. - Corner ornaments (`+`) and resize grip (`>>`) render as empty boxes on some systems — atlas texture replacement planned. ### Packaging Notes - `## Version` in `HomeWatch.toc` is `1.1.0`. - Zip structure: `HomeWatch-1.1.0.zip` → `HomeWatch/` → 5 files (`HomeWatch.toc`, `HomeWatchUI.lua`, `Options.lua`, `Core.lua`, `HWmini.tga`). No outer versioned folder. - Always delete and recreate the zip — never use `--update`.
