What's new

3.3.1

  • The 30-day healer memory now learns from friendly healers too, not just enemies — since teammates in one match are often opponents in the next, this means a healer gets recognized sooner.

3.3.0

  • Healers are remembered for 30 days. Once someone's identified as a healer (Solo Shuffle, rated BGs — the only modes that actually track role), they'll get flagged again automatically the next time you run into them, even in a normal battleground where role data isn't available on its own.
  • Added /hktdebug healers to see who's currently in that memory and how long ago they were last seen.

3.2.4

  • Packaging only: trimmed several more unused files out of the release zip (leftover library test/readme files, duplicate vendored libraries, and the internal dev roadmap doc).

3.2.3

  • Packaging only: removed a stray dev file (CurseForge listing draft) that was shipping inside the addon zip with no effect on gameplay.

3.2.2

  • Fixed a mid-fight error ("tried to call the protected function... SetSize") that could freeze the grid until your next reload. Same root cause as the earlier ClearAllPoints fix, in a spot that call missed.

3.2.1

  • Enemy health bars now use the same fill texture your own raid frames use, so cells look like real raid frames instead of a plain flat bar.

3.2.0

Live health bars. Enemy cells now show a real, moving health bar the moment that player is on your screen (nameplate visible) — no more guessing who's low. Health is tracked passively off their nameplate, so there's nothing to target or click to get a reading.

  • Cells fill and animate live off the enemy's actual health as their nameplate comes in and out of range
  • Fixed a bug where a healer's star marker could flicker on and off instead of staying put once they were identified
  • Fixed matching between the scoreboard roster and on-screen nameplates so tracking locks on reliably instead of missing players intermittently

Heads up: exact health percentage text isn't possible for enemy players on this client (the game blocks addons from reading it directly) — the bar fill itself is the accurate signal.

3.1.1

  • Fixed an error some players hit mid-fight ("tried to call the protected function... ClearAllPoints") that could freeze the grid until the next reload. The grid now updates safely in combat and finishes applying any pending changes the instant combat ends.

Hated Kill Targets 3.1.0 — First CurseForge Release

A live grid of the enemy team on your screen during battlegrounds and arenas, laid out exactly like your own 40-man raid frames — so calling the enemy healer is as easy as clicking your own tank.

What's New

Looks like your own raid frames

  • Matches Blizzard's own default 40-man raid frame proportions exactly — 72x36 cells, arranged in columns of 5, the same shape as your party/raid unit frames
  • Class-colored, with each enemy's class icon on every cell
  • The grid sizes itself to the actual enemy count automatically: a 10-player BG shows a 10-cell grid, a 40-player one fills the whole 8x5 shape

Click to target, instantly

  • Every cell is a secure click-to-target button — no /tar macros, no hunting through the map
  • Fully combat-safe: target updates queue automatically and apply the moment combat ends, so you're never stuck mid-fight with a stale target

Spot the healer

  • Role-tracked healers (Solo Shuffle, some rated battlegrounds) get a star marker so you know who to focus first

Move it, scale it, lock it

  • Drag to reposition
  • Mousewheel or /hkt scale <n> to resize
  • One click on the status text (or /hkt lock) locks it in place so you don't bump it mid-fight

Works everywhere PvP does

  • Battlegrounds and arenas both — shows itself automatically the moment you're in one and hides itself the moment you're not, nothing to remember to toggle

How to Use It

Command Effect
/hkt Toggle the panel
/hkt lock / /hkt unlock Lock or unlock dragging and scaling
/hkt slots auto Grid size follows the enemy count (default)
/hkt slots <5-40> Pin the grid to a specific size instead
/hkt scale <0.5-2.0> Set the frame scale exactly
/hkt show / /hkt hide Show or hide the panel
/hktmini Toggle the minimap icon

Heads Up

Cells don't show live health yet — that's coming in a future update. For now, think of the grid as a targeting panel, not a full raid-frame replacement.
