As of patch 4.2, the original HitsMode is no longer supported. Please upgrade to HitsMode5.

I've supported HitsMode for 6 years, and given users over a year to migrate to HitsMode5. Blizzard has broken the combat log significantly in 4.2, so that it is no longer practical to maintain this legacy add-on. HitsMode5 is modern, clean, extremely efficient, and much more powerful.
