Hide & Seek — WoW Classic Era
Play hide and seek with your raid! One player seeks, everyone else scatters and hides within a set play area. The addon hides everyone's minimap, nameplates, and raid frames, runs the timers, announces countdowns in raid warnings, and keeps score — all automatically.
Everyone in the raid must have the addon installed — the leader's client does a roll call before each round and will name anyone missing it.
How it plays
- Play area: the round is contained to the sub-zone(s) the leader picks — walk into extra areas and click Add Play Area for a bigger playground. Leave the area and you get a 10-second warning, then disqualification.
- Whistling: hiders can spam the Whistle button to taunt the seekers — everyone hears it louder the closer they are to the whistler, and each whistle during the seek phase earns a bonus point (max one every 5 seconds).
- Found = seeker: get tagged (targeted within ~10 yards) and you immediately join the seeking team to hunt down the rest.
- Seeker rotation: the starting seeker is picked at random each round and rotates so everyone gets a turn — the raid leader stays in control of settings and starting rounds throughout.
- Survive to the end without being found to win — hiders rack up a point per second they stay hidden during the seek phase.
Starting a round (leader)
- Get everyone in a group (a party auto-converts to a raid on start).
- Stand in the area you want to play in, or add additional areas if needed (i.e. inside buildings, inn etc).
- Set your hide/seek phase times in the Hide & Seek window (defaults: 90s / 180s).
- Hit Start Round — the addon checks everyone has it installed, then the round begins!
