Hero Alerter is a lightweight, easy-to-use World of Warcraft addon designed specifically for Mythic+ dungeons and Raids. In the heat of combat, it's easy to miss a chat message from your party leader calling for "BL" or "Hero". This addon solves that problem by making sure you instantly know when it's time to pop your cooldowns.
Smart Chat Monitoring: Automatically scans Party, Instance, and Say chats for specific keywords.
Massive On-Screen Alert: When a keyword is detected, a huge, unmissable red text alert pops up right in the middle of your screen.
Audio Cue: Plays the unmistakable "Raid Warning" sound effect alongside the text to catch your attention even if you are entirely focused on your action bars or mechanics.
Built-in Anti-Spam: Features a smart 10-second internal cooldown. If three people type "BL" at the exact same time, the addon will only alert you once, preventing annoying visual and audio spam.
Fully Customizable UI: Through the standard WoW interface (Escape -> Options -> AddOns -> Hero Alerter), you can easily customize the addon to your liking:
Change the exact words that trigger the alert (Defaults: BL, hero, bloodlust, heroism).
Change the warning text that appears on your screen (Default: BL/HERO!)
Instead of constantly glancing down at your chat window during chaotic boss fights, massive Mythic+ pulls, or intense PvP encounters, you can keep your eyes fully focused on the action in the center of your screen. Install the addon via CurseForge.
In the game, go to Game Menu (Esc) -> Options -> AddOns -> Hero Alerter.
Adjust your preferred keywords and alert text (or simply keep the ready-to-go defaults).
