Help or Not

We've all been there. Someone is griefing you, being rude in chat, or just playing so badly that the whole group suffers. You tell yourself you'll remember their name. Then two weeks later you're out in the world, they need a heal or a hand with a quest, and you've totally forgotten who they are.

Now you won't forget. Mark them once and you'll know exactly who they are every time you run into them.

How it works

Right click any player and mark them as Griefer, Rude or Annoying. Add a quick note if you want, like "left mid-boss" or "ninja looted." From then on they get a big DO NOT HELP stamp over their head. Their frames get tinted, and their tooltip shows your note. You'll get a heads-up if they join your group, and they'll be tagged in the Group Finder too, so you can skip them before you even join.

It works on anyone, friendly or hostile. That makes it great for keeping track of the guy who keeps camping you in the open world.

Shut them out

You can also stop hearing from them. Hide their chat and whispers, cancel their trades, and turn down their group invites, guild invites and duels automatically. You can put them on your ignore list too. You pick what gets blocked for each person.

Remember the good ones too

It's not all bad people. Met a great healer or someone who helped you out? Mark them as Helpful and they get a green HELPFUL stamp instead, so you know who's worth grouping with again.

Works on

Retail, WoW Forever, Classic Era, TBC Anniversary and Mists of Pandaria Classic. It works with EllesmereUI, the default Blizzard frames and most other UIs. Each game version keeps its own list, so use export and import to copy yours over if you want.

Good to know

Blizzard doesn't let addons change friendly nameplates inside dungeons and raids, so in there you'll see the marks on your party and raid frames instead. Addons also can't tell who's talking in instance chat anymore. If you want someone fully silenced in dungeons, turn on the ignore option for them.

This addon only changes what you see. It won't stop you from helping anyone if you change your mind, and nothing gets shared with other players. Your list is yours alone.
