The Minimalist Warband Gearing Assistant
HedgeAltAware is a lightweight, high-performance utility designed for players who want to optimize their Warband's gearing process without the bloat of traditional "all-in-one" addons. It provides immediate, context-aware information on whether an item is an upgrade for any of your max-level characters.
Core Features
Intelligent Upgrade Tracking: Instantly see which alts benefit from a gear drop. The addon compares item levels against currently equipped gear across your entire account.
Armor & Weapon Validation: The addon understands class proficiencies; it won't suggest a Plate chest for your Priest or a Two-Handed Axe for your Mage.
Warband-Focused Filtering: Automatically detects if an item is Warbound, Bind on Equip, or Bind on Account. If you can’t send it to an alt, the addon won't clutter your tooltip with it.
Midnight Optimized (12.0.1): Fully supports the "Warbound until Equipped" system and the new Warband Bank infrastructure.
Zero Configuration: Just log into your alts once to "stamp" their gear data. The addon handles the rest automatically.

How to Use

Install HedgeAltAware.

Log in to your Level 80 characters to cache their current equipment.

Hover over any transferable gear (BoE/BoA/Warbound) on your character to see a list of alts that would benefit from the upgrade.
