Hearthline is one thin, iMessage inspired chat sidebar for WoW: Forever. Whispers, group, guild, trade and loot, sorted by what needs you instead of which channel it came from. It sits beside Blizzard chat and changes nothing until you tell it to.

What you get

An Inbox, like your phone. Whispers, party or raid, and guild as real conversations with bubbles, unread counts and class icons. Pin the people who matter. Pop any thread out into its own window, and it reopens in the same spot next week. In a raid you get three lanes: Raid, your Group and Leader, with raid warnings as banners.

Watchers that read trade so you don't have to. Type what you're after: light leather, lf healer, wts.*%d+g. When a line matches, it lights up and lands in the Watch tab with Whisper, Quote and Reply buttons. A live test box and a library of ready-made rules get you started in seconds.

Channels without the noise. Trade, General, World and the rest as a dense stream, muted by default. An All view you can filter to the channels you care about, mutes per spammer per channel, and repeats folded into one line.

A System log you visit, not one that nags. Loot stacks into one line with a count, XP rolls up per fight, errors collapse. Quests, money, reputation and other addons' output each get their own chip. Never a sound, never a badge.

Alerts your way. Glow, toast and sound per source: whispers, mentions, group, guild, watchers. One bell in the header for quiet mode. Auto-quiet in instances if you want it.

Good to know

• Forever only. Built for the Forever client. Retail and Classic Era are not supported at this time.
• Your Inbox survives a reload. Conversations come back per character with their unread counts. You choose how many messages to keep and for how long, or turn it off.
