💕 Heartbound

A cozy little addon for two people playing World of Warcraft together.

Heartbound is made for couples (and best friends) who play side by side. Leave each other love notes, feel your screen glow when you're close, watch hearts float above each other, count your time together and keep a scrapbook of all your firsts.

Both of you need Heartbound installed.

💌 Love Notes

Write a note any time, even when your partner is offline. It's delivered the moment you're both online and arrives as a little animated envelope: the heart seal pops, the flap opens and the letter slides out. You'll hear when it's delivered and when it's read, and every note is kept.

✨ Proximity Glow

A soft pink border around your screen that beats like a heart, faster the closer you are to each other. Choose its color, brightness and range, and how it pulses: a heartbeat, gentle breathing or steady.

💗 Heart Trail

Little hearts float up from your partner's nameplate when you're close. Press Send hearts to shower you both. Only the two of you see them.

🕰️ Together Timer

Counts your time together: by default every minute you're in a group, wherever you both are. It celebrates milestones from one hour to a thousand and shows your week as a little chart.

📖 Our Memories

A scrapbook that fills itself while you play: the day your Heartbounds first said hello, the first time you stood side by side, your first dungeon, your first boss, every new place you visit together. Write your own memories too: they remember where you were, can be pinned on your map, and are shared with your partner.

One click, or one key, to follow your partner, from a small draggable button or the Home page.

• Add every character your partner plays: Heartbound follows them to whichever one they're on.
• Give them a nickname that's used everywhere.
• Two themes: Berry Night (cozy and dark) and Strawberry Milk (soft and light).
• English and Deutsch.
• A minimap heart that beats when a note is waiting.

🚀 Getting started

1. Install Heartbound for both of you.
2. Type /hb or click the heart on your minimap.
3. In Settings, add your partner's characters (type a name or target them and click Add target).
4. Add each other as friends in game.
5. Click Preview on the Glow page to see it on your own.

• /hb opens Heartbound
• /hb note text leaves a love note
• /hb memory title saves a memory right here
• /hb hearts burst sends a shower of hearts
• /hb test previews the glow, hearts and a love letter
• /hb help lists every command

💡 Good to know

• Supported games: WoW: Forever and TBC Anniversary. Each keeps its own notes and memories, and you both need to be in the same game.
• Private: Heartbound only talks to your partner's Heartbound, through the game's private addon messages. Nothing leaves the game.
• Notes wait for you both to be online: addons can't reach someone who's logged off.
• Inside dungeons and raids the game hides positions from addons, so the glow and hearts go quiet there; the Together Timer keeps counting while you're grouped.
• Following works within about 28 yards and needs a click or key press, since the game doesn't let addons move your character by themselves.
