HealthColorGradient

HealthColorGradient adds smooth health-based color gradients to BetterBlizzFrames unit frames and Platynator nameplates.

Choose your own colors for 0%, 50% and 100% health. Colors blend smoothly between those points, giving you a clear visual indication of remaining health.

Features

• Independent enable/disable controls for BetterBlizzFrames and Platynator.
• Color picker and HEX input for each health point.
• Live gradient preview and instant updates.
• Bright green #00FF00 as the default full-health color.
• Optional settings for individual saved Platynator styles.
• Buttons to restore default colors or inherit the default style settings.
• Preferences saved independently from the supported addons.
• Automatic UI language selection for all WoW client locales.

How to use

Install and enable HealthColorGradient together with BetterBlizzFrames, Platynator, or both. Open the settings with:

/hcg

You can also use /healthcolorgradient or open the panel from the game's AddOns settings.

Select an addon, enable its gradient and choose your colors. Enter saves a HEX value; Escape cancels the edit. Settings apply immediately.

Languages

English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), French, German, Italian, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

The UI follows the game client's language, with English as the fallback. Brand names and commands remain unchanged. Feedback on translation wording is welcome.

Compatibility

This version targets WoW Forever / Classic beta 1.60.1 (Interface 16001). It is not advertised as compatible with other WoW versions.

The BetterBlizzFrames adapter covers player, pet, target, focus, secondary targets and standard party frames. Compact raid/party frames are outside its current scope. The Platynator adapter preserves its nameplate textures.

The gradient takes priority over class, threat and reaction colors while enabled. Disable the relevant toggle to restore the original colors.

HealthColorGradient does not modify either addon's source files. Their updates do not overwrite this addon's folder, although future internal changes may require a compatibility update.
