Important Notice: End of Healer's Serenity Support

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the discontinuation of Healer's Serenity effective with the launch of World of Warcraft's Midnight expansion (v12.0).

Why This Is Happening

After extensive testing with the Midnight expansion, Blizzard's new security policies have made it impossible for Healer's Serenity to function as intended. The restrictions go far beyond what was initially announced—during combat, essential information is now classified as "secret values" and cannot be accessed by addons.

What This Means:

Every core feature that made Healer's Serenity valuable to healers is now broken:

• HoT and Healing Buff Tracking - Cannot monitor your heal-over-time effects and healing buffs on party members
• Dispellable Debuff Detection - Cannot identify which debuffs you can cleanse during combat
• Incoming Heal Predictions - Cannot show healing that's already on its way to targets
• Accurate Range Detection - Cannot reliably determine if players are in range of your spells
• Healing and Damage Meters - Cannot track healing done or damage taken to make intelligent triage decisions

Without access to combat log data and aura information during encounters, healers lose the situational awareness necessary to perform effectively. The addon's entire purpose was to provide clean, actionable information to help you make split-second healing decisions under pressure—information that is now completely inaccessible during the moments you need it most.

What I've Tried

I've explored every available API approach and workaround to maintain functionality within the new restrictions. Unfortunately, the limitations are insurmountable and fundamentally break the healer experience the addon was designed to deliver.

Final Thoughts

I want to thank every healer who has used this addon over the years—your feedback, support, and encouragement have meant everything to me. Healer's Serenity was built with love for the healing community, and it breaks my heart that external factors beyond our control have forced this decision.

I sincerely hope that Blizzard will reconsider these restrictions in the future to allow addon developers to continue supporting the healing community with the tools we need to keep our parties alive.

Version 2.3.8 Details

This final release includes:

• Updated welcome message announcing the discontinuation
• Full compatibility with current retail versions (11.0.2.05, 11.0.2.07)
• All existing features remain functional until the Midnight expansion launch
