HDLYB Mount Route — 0.1.0

First public release.

Highlights

  • 700+ mount list loaded from the in-game journal with localized names, exact collected status, and icons.
  • Smart filters: text search, category, expansion, hide-collected, and a "available this week" filter that reads your raid/dungeon lockouts via the game API.
  • Color-coded rarity based on actual drop chance (not popularity).
  • Attempt tracking:
    • Auto-incremented for mapped raid/dungeon bosses.
    • Manual "+1" button for world bosses and rares.
    • Historical import: at first login per character, the addon reads your Blizzard achievement statistics and seeds attempts from up to 10+ years of past kills. Per-character high-water mark prevents double-counting on subsequent reloads.
  • Optimized routing: nearest-neighbor TSP grouped by zone.
  • Cross-continent travel: capital portal waypoints automatically prepended, with chat hints when TomTom hides the arrow off-continent.
  • Self-contained: no dependency on any other data addon. TomTom is optional but recommended for the navigation arrow.

Compatibility

  • WoW Retail (Midnight) — interface 120005
  • Optional integration with TomTom

Known limitations

  • Auto-track via ENCOUNTER_END is currently mapped for a small set of bosses (The Lich King, Yogg-Saron). Other bosses can be tracked manually with the "+1" button or /hd inc <name>. More mappings will be added in subsequent releases.
  • World boss / rare auto-tracking is disabled (the COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED registration was removed because it triggered ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED in some configurations). Manual "+1" covers these.

Slash commands
