What if residents could investigate mysteries, help their neighbors, take on community assignments, and create stories that become part of their neighborhood's history?

HavenAlive Resident brings those possibilities to life.

Designed for World of Warcraft roleplayers, HavenAlive Resident is the player-facing edition of the HavenAlive neighborhood roleplay system. It provides residents with interactive adventures, community requests, investigations, and an evolving record of their shared experiences.

Whether you're a noble, guard, investigator, merchant, adventurer, or ordinary citizen, there's always a story waiting to unfold.

📜 Neighborhood Incident Board

Discover and participate in roleplay incidents published by your neighborhood's leadership.

Assignments may involve:

• Investigating suspicious activity or missing persons.

• Helping residents recover lost belongings.

• Resolving disagreements between neighbors.

• Assisting merchants and farmers.

• Participating in neighborhood improvement projects.

• Uncovering mysteries and criminal activity.

Each assignment provides a starting point for character interaction and collaborative storytelling.

🎭 Guided Roleplay Adventures

HavenAlive encounters use structured, three-stage adventures with narrative descriptions, objectives, clues, and outcomes.

Some adventures include optional dice rolls.

Players can follow the story without requiring a dedicated Dungeon Master for every encounter, while remaining free to develop their characters' own reactions and decisions.

📝 Player Requests

Have a problem your character needs help with?

Residents can submit their own roleplay requests, including a description, location, category, and suggested objectives.

Neighborhood leadership can review these submissions and approve them for other residents to undertake.

Your own stories can become opportunities for the entire community.

⚔️ Investigation & Assignment Tracking

Accept an available assignment and follow its progress.

Each character may hold one active investigation at a time. Complete or abandon your current assignment before accepting another.

This helps keep community adventures organized and encourages residents to finish the stories they begin.

📖 The Living Chronicle

Every completed adventure has the potential to become part of your neighborhood's history.

The Chronicle records completed assignments, investigations, and their outcomes, helping communities preserve their shared roleplay stories.

🔗 Guild Synchronization

HavenAlive uses World of Warcraft's supported addon communication system to exchange published incidents, player requests, assignment progress, and completed cases between participating guild members.

Participants must use compatible addon versions and be reachable in-game for synchronization.

🛡️ Resident vs. Command: Which Edition Do I Need?

HavenAlive Resident is designed for everyday players who want to explore neighborhood stories, accept assignments, submit requests, and participate in community roleplay.

HavenAlive Command is the companion edition for neighborhood administrators, guild officers, and event organizers. It adds tools for publishing incidents, reviewing requests, coordinating assignments, and managing community activities.

Residents do not need the Command addon to use the Resident interface.

Neighborhood leadership can use Command alongside the main Resident system to create and administer official content.

⚙️ Getting Started

1. Install HavenAlive Resident in your World of Warcraft Retail AddOns folder.

2. Enter the game and type /ha to open the HavenAlive Journal.

3. Browse the Incident Board for available adventures.

4. Accept an assignment or submit a Player Request.

5. Coordinate with participating neighborhood members and begin your story!

For shared community data, use the same neighborhood code as your participating group.

HavenAlive presents fictional encounters and adventures through its addon interface. It does not spawn NPCs, create physical game-world objects, or modify Blizzard's world.

The project is in active development and testing. Some features, particularly multiplayer synchronization, may require additional in-game validation.
