What is Hash's QOL?
A personal quality-of-life addon built for players who want a few sharp audio cues without installing a bloated notification framework. Five features. One window. No fuss.
Built specifically around Midnight's API from the ground up, no restricted templates, no Blizzard UI conflicts, no Lua errors flooding your chat after five minutes of combat.
Features
🎯 Focus Cast Sound
- Plays a sound the instant your focus target begins casting
- Great for PvP and tracking priority enemy casts in dungeons
- Set your focus with /focus, the rest is automatic
- Uses a safe deferred call to work around Midnight's spellcast restrictions
👹 Permanent Pet Alert
- Pulsing banner when your permanent pet is missing
- Works for any class with a perma pet, Warlock, Hunter, and more
- Auto-hides while mounted so it never nags you in transit
- Draggable, position it anywhere on screen
💜 Soul Shards Sound
- Plays once when you reach 5 Soul Shards
- Resets the moment you spend a shard, no repeating alerts
⚡ Holy Power Sound
- Plays once when you reach maximum Holy Power
- Resets as soon as you spend a charge
😐 Bruh Mode
- Replies "bruh" whenever anyone says "bruh" in chat
- Works across say, yell, party, raid, guild, and instance chat
- Will not reply to your own bruh
- 5 second cooldown prevents infinite bruh loops
- Toggle on or off via the settings window
🔊 Sound Customization
- Every feature has its own toggle checkbox and independent sound slot
- Built-in presets per row, cycle with arrow buttons
- Custom ID field, enter any WoW sound kit ID and press Set
- Play button to preview before committing
- Install Leatrix Sounds and use /lts to browse thousands of sounds by ID
- All settings saved per character, your Warlock and Paladin have completely independent configs
Slash Commands /hqol — Toggle the settings window open or closed
Compatibility
Soul Shards tracking is Warlock-specific. Holy Power tracking is Paladin-specific. Focus Cast sound, Pet Alert, and Bruh Mode work for any class.
