Hardcore Recorder

Hardcore Recorder quietly records the story behind your WoW Classic Hardcore characters.

The addon passively records levelling time, mob kills, quest completions, equipment changes, talents, money, deaths and character runs without adding gameplay instructions or requiring constant interaction.

Each Hardcore character is identified by its GUID, so if a character dies and you recreate the same name, the previous run remains archived and the new character begins a separate run.

Recorded data can be manually exported for personal analysis, route development or use by compatible addons.

Currently recorded data includes:

• time spent at each level;
• mobs killed, including NPC ID, observed level and location;
• quests completed and their completion locations;
• equipment and equipment changes;
• money gained and spent;
• talent builds and talent changes;
• login/logout sessions;
• deaths and death locations;
• separate historical Hardcore runs.

Privacy

Hardcore Recorder stores its data locally in World of Warcraft SavedVariables. It does not automatically upload or transmit gameplay data. Exports occur only when the player manually chooses to create one.

Development status

Hardcore Recorder is currently in active testing. Database formats and export formats may change between pre-release versions.
