HardcoreBound is a Hardcore addon for World of Warcraft Classic: The Burning Crusade, built for players who want a clean, fair, and transparent one-life experience.

It enforces permanent death — one life, no resurrection, no second chances.
Before a character is bound, a clear introduction explains the Hardcore ruleset so there is no ambiguity about the challenge you are accepting.

Core Principles

HardcoreBound is built around a trust-based verification system:

• Characters remain Verified as long as the addon stays active
• Disabling the addon or critical failures mark the character as Unverified
• Death is permanent and cannot be undone

There is no server-side enforcement and no intrusive mechanics — violations are tracked, logged, and made visible.

Death System

HardcoreBound includes a cinematic Hardcore death experience:

• Dedicated Hardcore Death Window
• Fade-to-black sequence with synced death sound
• No buttons, no distractions
• Shown once per death
• Optional ESC / Game Menu lock (can be disabled in config)

Death is treated as final, clear, and unavoidable — as Hardcore gameplay should be.

HardcoreBound does not prevent cheating.
