Hammerlog 67
What's new
67
Covers 59 to 67
- Gear seen while you were away: when you log in, Hammerlog asks an officer for the guild's gear it missed (inspections made while you were offline), so the Gear tab has the latest for everyone your officers have seen - members and officers alike.
- Less sync traffic with several officers: an officer passes what a member sends on to the other officers once, instead of each of them fetching it (about a third fewer messages with three officers).
- Fix: officers who log in at different times now find each other.
- The guild sync is about a third of the messages: what Hammerlog sends to guildmates running 66 or later is compressed, and records go in bigger batches. Older versions still get everything, uncompressed.
- Fix: when an officer logs off while another is catching up from them, the catch-up carries on from the next officer straight away instead of waiting a minute and a half or more.
- More of what you see goes to l2p.lol (nothing about who you are):
- how loot was looted: skinning, mining, herbing, pickpocketing, disenchanting, fishing and opening each count on their own, so drop rates are per corpse and skinning shows up at last;
- the coin a corpse gave, which lockbox or clam you opened, and where on the map (a 1% grid, only ever shown summed up);
- for XP: your group's size and bonus, the mob's level, and whether it was elite or rare - so the XP table can show kills made alone;
- creatures as you see them: elite, rare, their levels and type;
- quests: who gives and takes them, their level and the coin they pay;
- reputation from kills and quests; what trainers teach and for how much; how many a vendor has of a limited item;
- your levelling, per character and level: time and XP in the world and in dungeons (no names), for the site's Levelling page.
- A smaller saved file: records are saved one line each, about 2.5 times smaller, so uploads go faster and nothing near the limits.
- Shorter tooltip line: "Hammerlog: HS 91 to 95 (+4)", one line, green when better and red when worse, and nothing when an item changes nothing. Rings and trinkets say which one they'd replace (or that a slot is free), and a one-hander that fits either hand says which.
- Shorter login line: "Hammerlog 64 loaded. /hlog help for
commands."
/hlog helplists every command; so does the settings page./hlog quietnow also hushes the reports' messages, and/hlog gearkeeps its details for/hlog gear debug. - Less guild sync chatter: a member sending a change or two at a time sends them together every 30 seconds, about a third of the messages it took before.
- Fix: the guild sync no longer stalls. A member seeing lots of new items (the scanner on in a city) could hold back everything else they had to share, and two officers online together kept trading the same status messages for as long as both played.
- Fix: My fights no longer gives a trash pull the next pull's boss and time when you chain-pull straight into a boss.
- Fix: librams, idols, totems and trinkets with no stats no longer say "the game hasn't sent its stats yet", and hovering items with one equipped no longer redoes all the work each time.
- Fix: the first login after the limits came down no longer stalls while it shrinks a big file.
- Fix:
/hlog quietonly answers to "quiet" itself, not to a command naming a player like "Quietstorm". - Fix: a shared report with a damaged row is refused instead of breaking the window.
- Your saved file stays small enough to upload. Hammerlog keeps fewer old records in it: 5,000 loot and XP records, 3,000 group drops, 8,000 items seen on players and 8,000 on the auction house (once full, those seen longest ago make room), and less of the guild's data on officers. Anything you've already uploaded stays on l2p.lol; a file over the new limits shrinks at your next login.
- Fix: a guildmate's gear no longer shows with items missing. An inspect is now kept only once all of their items have loaded; one that never finishes loading is skipped and tried again later, instead of replacing their full gear with a partial set.
- Fix: the line under a guildmate's name on the Gear tab no longer runs off the window; it shortens itself to fit.
