Hallkeeper-0.1.6.zip
What's new
0.1.6 (2026-10-16)
New
- Upgrades in item tooltips: hover any gear (in bags, on the auction house, in chat links, at a vendor) and an upgrade shows a green line like "+12% (Bear) over Infiltrator Shoulders", plus "BiS #2 for Feral (Bear)" when it would make your BiS page's Top 5.
- Upgrade marks on item buttons: a small green "+12%" on quest rewards, the loot window, need/greed rolls, vendors and the "You received" loot toast, only for items that are upgrades.
- Scoring gear for: a new card at the top of the Character tab shows which spec your gear is scored for, for example "Feral (Bear) - auto". Click it to pick another spec. Tooltips, marks, the Upgrades list and the BiS page all follow it.
- Budget in gold and silver: the Upgrades page has gold and silver boxes instead of the slider. It starts at half your gold. Leave both empty for no limit.
- Gear you hover is remembered for the BiS page ("Seen in a tooltip"), so items from chat links and other players count too.
- Shared flight times: guildmates' flight times fill in routes you haven't flown yet, marked "(guild time)". Your own timing is always used first.
- Better upgrade percentages while levelling: Agility's value for crit and dodge now follows your level (a level 30 druid needs 11.2 Agility per 1% crit, not 20), so Agility gear scores higher below 60.
- Hallkeeper learns how much Intellect gives 1% spell crit at your level. It measures this by itself when you swap a piece of gear with Intellect out of combat. Hallkeeper players on your realm share what they measured (switch: Settings > General > Realm sharing) over a hidden channel, HallkeeperData, which shows in your channel list but never in chat. Hallkeeper also comes with the values measured so far.
/hk scoreshows the values it uses and where they come from. - Sending talent builds: the Send button now shows "Sending...", then "Delivered" or "No answer", and a card tells you when your guildmate opens or keeps the build.
- Receiving talent builds: a build now arrives as a card with Open, Keep and Mute instead of a popup in the middle of the screen. Nothing is saved until you press Open or Keep; right-click the card to throw it away. Settings > General > Talent builds turns them off and lists the players you muted.
- At most 3 talent builds per player every 10 minutes, both ways. A card tells you when you hit the limit, or when someone sends you more.
- Feral (Cat): spec menus now say "Feral (Cat)" instead of "Feral Combat", next to "Feral (Bear)".
Fixed
- Druids' polearms and rogues' one-handed axes (both allowed on Forever) were left off the BiS page and upgrades. Polearms count from level 20, when weapon masters teach them.
/hk score use <spec>didn't change the upgrade lines in tooltips until your gear or talents changed.- Forever names in two parts ("Turbo Tre") showed only the first part in a few places.
- The tooltip line for guildmates who can craft an item now reads "Can craft this:" instead of "Crafted by:", which looked like the game's "Made by".
Known issues
- Intellect per crit: only measured for druids around level 30 so far; other classes and levels use the level-60 value until someone on your realm or in your guild measures them.
- Talent builds: players on older versions don't tell you when they open or keep a build.
- Loot sources: the game sometimes hides a mob's name from addons. Loot from such a mob is still counted, but without "Dropped by".
- 3D model: the game only draws characters it can see, so your alts and guildmates who aren't near you show their class icon instead.
- Alts: only guildmates on 0.1.3 or newer show as alts. Alts of players without Hallkeeper can't be marked yet.
- Log out normally: the game saves addon data only on a normal logout or
/reload. After a crash, what you received that session is gone. - Some recipes need one click: the game doesn't let addons open profession windows, so some recipes are read through the scan panel, with one click per profession.
- English only: profession names and flight routes are matched in English only.
- No guild bank yet: the guild bank isn't shown.
- Classic values: essence item ids in Market's conversions are the Classic ones until they're checked on Forever.
