GuildNoteUpdater

GuildNoteUpdater automatically keeps your guild note up to date with your character's current stats so your guild always has accurate, at-a-glance information without anyone having to update notes manually.

What It Does

Every time you log in or your character's stats change, GuildNoteUpdater builds and writes a compact note to your guild roster entry. You choose exactly what gets included.

Features

Configurable Note Fields

Toggle any combination of the following on or off per character:

• Item Level - your current equipped or average item level
• Specialization - your active spec, updates automatically on spec change
• Professions - your two primary professions with skill level
• Main / Alt - tag yourself as a Main, Alt, or leave it blank

Note Lock

Prevent the addon from overwriting your guild note. Useful when you want to set a custom note temporarily without it being replaced.

Customization

• Note Prefix - add a custom prefix to your note
• Item Level Format - choose between Equipped or Average item level
• Update Trigger - control when your note is refreshed
• Update Notifications - optional chat message when your note is updated

Per-Character Settings

Every setting is saved individually per character, so each of your alts can have its own configuration.

Notes

• Guild notes are capped at 31 characters. GuildNoteUpdater truncates gracefully to fit.
• Updates are suppressed during combat.
• All settings persist between sessions via SavedVariables.
