GuildWordle

A daily Wordle puzzle, playable in-game, with a shared guild leaderboard.

Features

• Real word list. Uses NYT Wordle's actual answer pool and full accepted-guess dictionary (~2,300 possible answers, ~14,800 valid guesses).
• Same word for everyone. Today's word is derived deterministically from the calendar date, so every guildmate gets the identical puzzle — no server, no network calls.
• Guild leaderboard. Results are shared over guild chat and synced between clients automatically. Every client gossips everything it knows, not just its own result, so a result can reach you secondhand through anyone who was online with both you and the original player — it doesn't require you to be online at the exact same moment as they were.
• Simple commands:
  • /wordle — open/close the game window
  • /wordle lb — print today's leaderboard to chat

Compatibility

Built for WoW Classic Anniversary (Interface: 11508).

Known limitation

Because addons don't run while a player is offline, a guildmate who never overlaps online with any other guild member within the 7-day retention window won't show up on others' leaderboards — this is a hard constraint of WoW's addon sandbox, not a bug.
